Sunday = Church day

Sooo,

today was sunday... the day which belongs to god, so I don't train or work. I went to church as always :)

Today's topic was about what someone has to do or what could motivate one to get holy (resulting from the bible verse: Be holy, because I am holy).

Now one has to know is, that we cannot achieve complete Holiness (my vocabulary is leaving me hanging here). But using that for an excuse to do whatever someone likes is wrong! We have to give it our best, 24/7 365 days a year (and every 4th year it's a day more we have to give it our best :D).

You get the idea.... If you are aiming for perfection, using your inperfection as an excuse is just pathetic.... But that is what many christians do. I do it too sometimes (watch out, a hypocrite!). But I give it my best.... I know that I am weak, but instead of using it as an excuse I am ashamed.... IT IS TO BE ASHAMED OF....

The others are not the standard! God raised the standards to Jesus, who limited himself to a human form on earth, suffered and still never sinned....
One day, he is going to ask you and me, why we sinned so much. - "Everyone else did too!" - "Everyone else goes to hell too!"

Hurts, right?

But he said (it's written in the Bible) accepting his Love, his gift of eternal life (really accepting it) and actually make God your god (not you beeing your god!) and master, then you neither can be the same person anymore, nor will you go to hell...
